DESCRIPTION:This illustrated talk covers the career of Chris’s 4-greats uncle\, who entered  the Royal Academy schools in 1841. His reputation was greatly enhanced by his 1852 statue of Nelson in Cathedral Close\, Norwich leading to work for Titus Salt at his new model town of Saltaire. \nTen years ago\, Chris made it his mission to visit and photograph every one of Milnes’ works\, adding several to the official record along the way and culminating in the opportunity to purchase one which will be on display at the talk. \nNote £5 charge to all! \nTo help us with setting up each FROOM (From our Members) session\, please reserve your interest in attending using the following form… you can use it for each or all of the three FROOM sessions. \nRESERVE YOUR PLACE HERE
